All DTE products are made using legal and sustainably sourced timber, one of the most environmentally-sound standard building materials.
James Donaldson Group Ltd holds FSC® chain-of-custody certificate INT-COC-002191 (licence FSC-C015696) and PEFC chain-of-custody certificate CATG-PEFC-COC-405. The supplied FSC record includes Donaldson Timber Engineering participating sites. Certificate documents and official verification links are provided below.
An Environmental Product Declaration, or EPD, is an independently verified document that transparently reports the environmental impact of a product or material, based on a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The LCA evaluates the environmental effects throughout the product’s lifecycle, from raw material extraction to disposal. EPDs, derived from these LCAs, support carbon emission reduction targets by enabling comparisons of the environmental impacts of different materials and products, helping to select the most sustainable option for buildings or infrastructure.

James Donaldson Group Ltd — certificate INT-COC-002191, licence FSC-C015696. The supplied record lists Donaldson Timber Engineering participating sites and an expiry date of 21 February 2031.
PEFC chain of custody
James Donaldson Group Ltd — certificate CATG-PEFC-COC-405. The multi-site certificate covers timber, trussed rafters, engineered joists and other timber products, with an expiry date of 7 April 2027. Participating sites are listed in the certificate’s separate appendix.
Architects, engineers and designers are able to choose the most sustainable option for their project.
Manufacturers are able to optimise the impact of their products and market their carbon transparency.
EPDs help to achieve EPD and LCA credits in recognised certification schemes.
